Whether that gap is worth paying comes down to a question the deal posts mostly don’t answer: what does the Ultra 4 do that the Ultra 3 doesn’t?

How much is the Apple Watch Ultra 4 on sale for?

The Ultra 4 is $699.99 at Amazon, a $99 cut from the $799.00 price, per MacRumors. The Ultra 4 launched in September 2026, so this is a discount roughly six weeks after release.

The $99 discount applies to three configurations: Black with a Burgundy Alpine Loop (Large), Black with a Burgundy Trail Loop (M/L), and Natural with a Desert Alpine Loop (Medium). A Black Ultra 4 with a Black Milanese Loop (Large) is $799.99, down from $899.00.

It also cites a 4.7-star Amazon rating. Those are the outlet’s descriptions, not independently verified numbers, and battery life in particular will vary with how you use the watch.

That’s a full spec sheet for a watch you can now get for $150 less than its list price. Deals on other Ultra 3 bands or sizes haven’t been reported.

Is the Ultra 4 worth the extra $50?

Only if you can name what you’re paying for. The roughly $50 difference is under 8% of the Ultra 3’s $649 price, which is small. But none of the deal coverage describes what changed in the Ultra 4, so there’s no feature to point at and call it worth the money.

A lot of the useful detail is missing, and some of it affects the decision directly.
